Thanks.  It is still down for me, in CT/US on PC

Did all the firewall checks etc.  It is odd no one else is complaining.  I am going to change my IP and see what happens.

Im not able to connect too. Since this week, there just stays the "Connecting..." Box, but nothing happen. I turned of my Anti-Virus program but it still didnt work. Very wired, because it worked always and one day it just dont connect anymore!

I didnt changed anything. Well, actually it isnt my PC, its the PC of my Brother. Well, I dont think, he changed anything. I played Mirrors Edge Online and at the same day it could'nt connect anymore!

No, it still dont connect. I have Windows XP SP 3 but I always could connect with SP 3!!
I will try some steps, but I dont think they will resolve the issue!

my solution:

my profile was corrupt on their servers so after a lot of troubleshooting I created a new profile under a new CD key that support provided me and it works but I have to start over with 0 stars.

It is corrupt so it doesnt work.  The persona I was using was not able to be transferred or atleast support suggested we did not try to so it would not possibly corrupt my new profile. 

BTW - your custom maps are fantastic. I am going to try them tonight.

My old nick Ax10m still exists on the boards.  The tech would have to transfer the persona over to the new account (new email addy on new EA.com account)  He recommended me not to.  I have not tried yet.  I would like to keep the old one too but.. now I have to deal with Ax1oms that he created.

on topic: also is it certain that it's acc related? i mean i corrupted 2 accs, no real point to contact support if my comp screwing it up
nope not on vista, sorry about that, but there is manual install description in the readme (pretty bad tho). Basically just copy the sp01, sp02 folder and TNMap.upk to %documents%/EA Games/Mirror's Edge/TdGame/Publsihed/CookedPC/Maps (you may need to create the Maps folder). Also renaming TT_StromdrainsB02_p.me1 to TT_StromdrainsB01_p.me1 in the sp02 folder will give a different mechanic to checkpoint flagging on the map, so you might want both (one mapfile contains 2 tracks to keep the zipsize low ) altho the map isn't great to play with either way:S

Anyway can you post a screenshot with the intaller's screen scrolled to top (i need the top few rows). I had the problem with my tester that commands didn't get recognized, but we worked that out.

without the DLC isntalled you can create any amount of accs (no wonder so many cheaters on PC). Here's the catch tho, the DLC is not working this way, that can only be assigned to one acc

BTW do both of you have the DLC?

clarifcation on profiles:
your offline data is stored in your documents under the name %username%.dat where username is your windows user name. You can't rename yourself in game by renaming this file, coz then it'll just create a new one under this name.

what i'm not aware of:
how does yoour savefile relates to your online profile. In my case it would really not be a surprise if it didn't work, coz i really did an awful amount of profile swapping and map switching (but i never EVER went online with them), but i really doubt you did that too. Also, my friend did it too, yet his online profile works fine.

I'm not sure if there is a connection between a DLC mirror's edge and a savefile. I've seen Pzypher play on my custom map with a custom profile, by which i assumed that it's unrelated, but now i'm worried that custom maps+ DLC might be a really bad comco.
When you first experienced this did you had any custom map on your comp? Did you swapped profiles before that? Or one day you just simply couldn't log in?

Sorry i'm not sure if i understand this part. You mean that the 2nd corruption happened after the current mappack, but previously it worked fine after playing on rooftops? In that case at least i know not THIS mappack is screwed up, but maybe custom amps aoverall:X... which is even more worrying lol.

The lack of error reports could be the effect that relatively few ppl have the DLC. And those who do may always played it offline, and it was technically impossible to break your records on the normal maps. And i really tried to screw up a non-dlc account with custom maps, multiple profiles n such but failed to do so.

But still it doesn't explain why my old acc got corrupted before i used my DLC code on an acc. And i only logged on my acc with DLC once, qualified on 2 DLC maps and that's all.

I really hope it's computer related, coz then at least other ppl won't have this coz of me, but i still don't see any connection between our cases.

Do you remember any other specific circumstances when your corruption(s) happened?

edit: i manually corrupted a profile and the game prompts a message after the startup movie  that the profile is damaged. Which would suggest that the online data is damaged otherwise you would know it, the question is how did that get corrupt? Custom maps generate normal ghost data (if they do which is only when you beat your time, which couldn't have happened on my maps IMO).
I tried closing ME while uploading the ghost data after a run, but that only results in that the next time i run the game it simply isn't there or says the ghost data is damaged.

No game booster or any trainer was ever installed for ME. I probably had custom maps enabled when playing online, but i never played on one while online. (i did today to see if that's causing it, but it didn't cause anything).

If your profile is already tied to an acc, rename it (i'm not sure if you can tie it to another acc).You can also copy the custom.dat from the taplodlc/savefiles and rename it to your .dat file, coz then you won't have to redo the story mode. Then the next time you try to connect online it shuld bring up the login screen. On the bottom click on create account or something like that, and simply make a new one as you did the first time around (you will need another email address tho). That is what i did, if it doesn't work i can attempt to create one for you.
(Also i'm not sure if it's a must to uninstall the DLC, what is important is to have a .dat fiel that is not tied to an acc yet)
edit: the dlc doesn't have to be uninstalled.
