Hi all,
I really want to grab some screenshots of the untextured city that appears behind the main menu. Does anyone know a way to hide or otherwise kill the menu?
Cheers

i think we cant change MainMenu BUT..
we can create new ChangeMenu for select modMenu or MainMenu
and write ChangeMenu.me1 in startup map in config..
:]

Can you explain that a bit more? You mean we can create a new menu in place of the old one?

Try executing this keybind when you've loaded a map:
Bindings=(Name="F1",Command="start TdMainMenu?Game=TdGame.TdSpTutorialGame",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

Just loads the menu in its entirety, unfortunately. I'm looking for just the white version of the city, which I'd imagine isn't even playable.

it is, you just have to delete some kismet sequence.

Well, i'd like to PLAY on the map ..
I will try the bind. "Bindings=(Name="F1",Command="start TdMainMenu?Game=TdGame.TdSpTutorialGame",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)"

Don't know if playing the map will work very well. If I remember correctly, the city is quite small compared to the player, and it has no collision model. Can't you open the map in the editor and take the screenshots from there? It should look about the same, I guess.

I don't know the exact steps they used, but here are some pictures from someone of the main menu:

If you find one of his posts with a Flickr link, check out all the galleries, by the way. I think some of them use Gary's Mod or super-samplign followed by a resize, but they're pretty amazing screenshots regardless.

So, here i am,
i tested the Bind, but it will just kick you to the Menu back.

So in the end I just broke the Kismet script, rebuilt all but the lighting and ran the game again. Mission accomplished.
Cheers
