Seriously, most tabi shoes suck. Faith's are the hotness. I wish a major shoe manufacturer like Asics or Adidas would make an athletic tabi sneaker.

No kidding! They look like something that Puma would possibly make, though I've yet to find anything as sweet as her sneaks. Keep me updated on anything you find!

I smell Puma endorsement from this game ![]()

Nike Air Rifts have a split toe.

I'd buy a pair in a heartbeat, that's for damn sure. Then I'd probably have this insatiable urge to learn parkour, heh. That said, thanks for the heads up on that Wilemina. Those aren't too bad looking. Good alternative for the chance (
), that Faith's shoes aren't ever sold.

Hmm, those are close, but not quite. Also, they're women's. I'm trying to cut down on time I spend in drag. I'm starting to feel like it may be getting unhealthy?
This is a little closer:
....but I dont think they're available for public consumption, yet.
A hybrid of the above with my wrestling sneaks:
...would be about perfect. ![]()

Those Asics/Onitsukas look cool! The yellow Onitsukas that Uma Thurman wears in Kill Bill vol. 1 are nice too. I remember them going for a fortune on ebay at the time.
It's a shame they don't make tabi style trainers in man sizes ![]()

Nice catch. I'm liking the ones in the second pic better. The extra black looks better to me.

Notice how the shoe in the first screenshot is different too the ones in the second.
Yeah, I had noticed how the black/red color scheme had reversed from the FMV on the logo screen to the actual game play. I think both designs are hot.
The body of the shoe looks alot like the casual and athletic slip ons that Sketchers is favoring now, sans the split toe of course.
Are you listening, Sketchers? MAKE THIS SHOE!

meh i wouldnt want sketchers to make this shoe they tend to over size their symbol ruining the shoe

Gametrailers.com did an indepth analysis of the Mirror's Edge trailer, and noted that Faith's shoes bear the logo for a company called Loggo.
I went to their website, but failed to find any shoes resembling Faith's. I've emailed them to see if they're planning on producing a line of shoes like that at any point in the future:

I happened to notice a logo for your brand on the shoe of a character in a video game that's being developed, called "Mirror's Edge", and I'm wondering if there are any plans to produce a shoe like the one featured in the game bearing your company's logo?
Maybe anyone else here interested should drop them a similar email?
Here's their website:

I don't care how they would look, they must be awesome for parkour.
Anyone know where I can get those blue ones insomniak posted?

Hey, Flow. Those shoes were actually developed by Asics of Japan, for japanese astronauts. I dont think that they're available commercially, so you'd probably have a hell of a time acquiring them, if it's even possible at all.
If anyone has an inside track on this, or any information regarding an athletic tabi sneaker, please speak up.
Now the shoe that Faith is actually wearing in the game has a logo for the little known shoe company, Loggo, on it. Here's their website:

I cant find her 'tabi' style sneaker anywhere on their website, but sent them an email asking if they might be planning on making a shoe like that in the future.
Anyone else interested should email them as well, and maybe get the wheels turning for them to release this shoe, even if it's just a marketing gimmick to coincide with the release of the game.
I want me some tabi sneakers!

I want some tabi, some decent parkour shoes, maybe the kalanjis that the restof the team have, and some soap shoes.
Particularly the exact ones sonic wears.

fiveten is producing parkour shoes, called "savant". also k-swiss (ariake) and my personal favourite inov-8 f-lite 301 PK, 305 PK or 320 PK.
But none of them is sporting those split toe designs.

The brand on the shoe is "Loggo"(you can see at beginning of traler sort of) apparently its a recognized indonesian shoe brand.

And unfortunately, a fairly close examination of Loggo's site indicates that this shoe does not actually exist. Or anything like it. It appears to just be an endorsement.
Admittedly, some of their shoes are still pretty nice.

Still, we should all hit the CONTACT link on the Loggo website, and express interest in the Mirror's Edge tabi sneaker. They may consider producing it, even if only as a promotional gimmick for the game.

Maybe Carbon-copy it to DICE as well?
See if we can get in enough fan-mail about it?
