I FOUND NEWSTREAM!!!!!

In the PK-page its linking to the newstream energy page (already seen and i know) BUT nobody seemed to have any prof that Newstream is a part of the game. So as i just ran throu the game i thougt i saw the words newstream enregy... AND I WAS RIGHT!!!!

Where is it:
In the stormdrains in mission 2 (Jacknife) after you go down the drains.. down to the bottom.. opens 2 huge doors.. run past some guards.. enter a small room..... HERE right in front of you its written on the wall (Not graffity but as a commercial)

That level takes place in an industrial/warehouse area, it could be a coincidence that PK and Newstream have facilities there.

Whell now we know NS eregy IS a part of the game, about "that level" if its the level of pirandello kruger its @ the docks, the other level (Jacknife) is @ the middle of the city, mainly in the sewers... anyways its neer WATER and as Newstream works with water (probably they rinse drinking water) its no big deal they are @ these positions... if there was a PK facillity near the middle of the city @ the stormdrains ther was bigger chances for they are related... anyways NSE might just be a sponsor for PK...

This is a great topic! As I was playing through the game, I thought the easter eggs were simple, mundane things, but recently, through these sites and source codes, things have gotten much more complicated.

Anyway, I became curious of "88.7" and decided to do some snooping around. Some simple wikipedia link hopping proved useful for finding an answer. Google is useless because an endless number of pages appear for radio stations.

Obviously, 88.7 can refer to a radio frequency. Assuming this is true and conducting some research. I found out that the frequency of "88.7" is a commonly used radio frequency. It is a lower band, FM channel running at 88.7 Megahertz. This lower frequency range is dedicated mostly to public broadcasting. Many colleges have their own radio stations and they use the lower frequency for broadcasting. Being public, almost anyone can use it for productive purposes.

Realizing this, using 88.7 does make sense for the runners or other people to use, however, it is so easy to crack into and listen that it does not make sense for the secure conversations that the runners have with each other.

Or I could be totally incorrect with this. Just a theory though. Kinda fun to do this crazy research.

Remember though, this information is strictly concerning the United States. I do not know much about frequencies in other nations and if they are similar or not.

yea i just saw that (residence)... wonder about 2nd/3rd tier... notice that they only know 3 runners (Including Celest) and 2 trackers... you think that drake is gonna be faiths tracker in ME2?... anyways she does need a new tracker...

whell kate might be talking to you, but i guess faith will need a good tracker, and kate is... well... a newbie in running/tracking.... but we can only wait for ME2 to be released... or find out what is about that ARG on PKs site (chek sig) is... once it was a hint to ME2, but they changed the site... now im confused... it doesnt seem to realy tell anything at all....

whell one thing that bothers me: in the old picture the EXIF containde the "mirros edge two" hidden messenge (yea mirros not mirrors) but the new one, the one called lies doesnt seem to hint ANYTHING... but if the ARG was about ME2 why would the "final messenge" be REMOVED and not MOVED or CHANGED... there is no messenge in PK/NE homepages as they are now... but why change it when it was an ARG that gave a clue to one that DOESNT give anything.... thats just WRONG!!!!

it doesnt seem to be related to the PK/NE... i think its a coincidense, and it has nothing to do with ME...

i realy hope DICE would make a clue... its wierd to remove the point of the ARG....
